LIFEGUARDING
Hamptons Reliable offers private lifeguarding services for any event you may be planning for this summer. Clients can feel relaxed at their own party knowing that their safety and their guests’ safety are in the hands of a professional lifeguard. Lifeguards come equipped with their own first aid kit, lifeguarding tubes, and are on constant watch throughout the duration of your private event. We keep the party safe so that you can enjoy your own party without worrying about the “what ifs!”

General Policy

There are some general rules that will be applied to every lifeguarding event to ensure safety for everyone in attendance. Clients must understand that HRS has complete control over the pool area during the event, and will not challenge HRS’ word over an action deemed unsafe. There are no minimum requirements to how long the event must be. These rules are listed below: 

  • NO DIVING

  • NO PUSHING OTHERS INTO THE POOL

  • NO RUNNING

  • NO FLIPS

  • HANDS & FEET TO YOURSELF

  • NO FOOD / DRINK AROUND THE POOL AREA

  • LIMITED NUMBER OF POOL FLOATS ALLOWED (HRS can remove them if deemed necessary)

 

Payment Policy

Prices are determined based on the address of where the event will be taking place and will take form of a flat hourly rate. Payment is due in full at least one week prior to the event and clients must also pay NYS Sales Tax (8.6254%). The following payment methods are accepted by HRS for private lifeguarding services:

  • PayPal (Electronic)

  • Venmo (Electronic)

  • Cash

  • Check (made out to Hamptons Reliable)

 

Rain Policy / Cancellation Policy

HRS will take full responsibility in paying attention to the weather during the week.

 

  • HRS will not offer lifeguarding services for any event where there is a very high probability of rain, thunder, and / or lightning. Therefore, HRS will let clients know more than 48 hours ahead of time that the weather will not cooperate and refund the client for the total amount of the event.

  • Lastly, clients should be aware that re-scheduling HRS for a different date might not be possible due to prior scheduled commitments.

  • The cancellation policy for all lifeguarding events will operate on a strict 48-hour policy. Clients that cancel 48 hours or more from the start of the party will receive a full refund. Clients that cancel within the 48-hour window will receive a 50% discount of the total overall cost.
